Founded in June 2017 by Ilya Shifrin and Kathleen Parisien in the heart of Blackburn Hamlet, Doctor Appliance Repair Ottawa was built on the principle of providing honest, reliable service—a refreshing change in the appliance repair industry. Ilya, with his rich experience from building another successful Ottawa-based repair business, recognized the pitfalls of the industry, from unreturned customer calls to underpaid technicians. Together with Kathleen, they embarked on creating an appliance repair business dedicated to integrity and customer satisfaction.
